Italian Francesco Bagnaia wins the sprint race of the Malaysian Grand Prix in the MotoGP class.
In Sepang, the Ducati rider, who started from pole position for the third time this season, relegated the Spaniards Alex Marquez and Fermin Aldeguer to the other places. Bagnaia was never in trouble on his way to his second win of the season.
Thanks to second place, Alex Marquez is now officially second in the world championship behind his brother Marc, who has the title in the premier class for sure and has already had to end the season due to injury.
