Vogt, Gregory Jones, Andreas Haas and Amadou Ndiaye secured third place at the same time as the British (Brad Hall) behind two German sleds.

Vogt won the fourth European Championship medal of his career in Lillehammer, the second in the four-man bobsleigh. At the same time, Vogt made it back onto the podium for the first time since his lengthy injury break. His previous best ranking this season was 4th place in the four-man bobsleigh in St. Moritz on January 12.

The other Swiss sleds finished in 7th and 8th place, with the gold medal going to the German Johannes Locher.
