The visitors from Central Switzerland took a two-goal lead shortly after the break, but soon had to surrender it again. The Bernese then pulled away and even had a comfortable lead at the end. Swiss international Felix Aellen scored 10 goals for the home team.

This gives BSV Bern a good chance of reaching the play-off final for the first time 40 years after the last championship title in the club's history. The two teams will meet again on Saturday in Sursee.
