Ambri-Piotta is strengthening its roster with Canadian forward Nicolas Petan. As the National League club from Ticino announced, the 30-year-old center has signed a two-year contract.

Petan spent last season in the Russian KHL with Ak Bars Kazan. In 2015, he was U20 World Champion with the Canadian juniors, after which he made a total of 170 appearances in the NHL, but was unable to establish himself there in the long term.
