Chicago still trailed 6:21 at the start of the final quarter. A missed extra point and a missed field goal by the Packers gave the Bears and quarterback Caleb Williams further hope. He gained 361 yards and threw two touchdown passes. His two interceptions no longer played a role in the end.
The Los Angeles Rams also progressed after a 34:31 win against the Carolina Panthers. The favored Californians struggled unexpectedly.
