The Olympic bronze medal winner from Paris was beaten by local rider Laura Smulders and Olympic champion Saya Sakakibara from Australia. Thanks to her opening victory a week ago in Sarrians, the 24-year-old from Vaud is in 2nd place in the overall World Cup behind Sakakibara.
