Freeskier Colin Wili has had enough of top-class sport. The 27-year-old from Appenzell is ending his career.

Wili's retirement is not due to results or because he failed to qualify for the Olympic Games. He made the decision before the end of the season. "It's simply time for a change and to do something else." Wili will remain connected to the scene. In future, he wants to concentrate more on film projects.

Wili took part in the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, where he competed in both big air and slopestyle. He has also competed in four World Championships and 61 World Cup competitions. His greatest successes include two 2nd places in slopestyle, which he achieved in 2017 on the Alpe di Siusi in South Tyrol and in 2022 in Bakuriani in Georgia.
