After four games, the teams from Texas and Denver are tied 2-2. The fifth game will take place in Dallas again.

The big man for the Avalanche was returnee Gabriel Landeskog. The Swedish forward, who played only his second game after a nearly three-year absence due to a chronic knee injury, was named the best player after scoring a goal and an assist.

Colorado bounced back impressively after two clear defeats and dominated the game with 48 to 23 shots on goal. Lian Bichsel from Solothurn recorded a minus-1 rating after 15 minutes of play.

Swiss goalie Akira Schmid did not play in the Vegas Golden Knights' 4-3 away win. The series between the team from Las Vegas and the Minnesota Wild is also tied 2-2.

The Toronto Maple Leafs missed out on becoming the first team to reach the quarter-finals. They lost 3:4 after overtime in Ottawa, but still hold a comfortable 3:1 lead.
