EHC Winterthur is strengthening its roster for the next Swiss League season with Danish international David Madsen. The 26-year-old forward joins Winterthur from top team Sönderjysk.

David Madsen won the title with Sönderjysk in the spring of 2024 and thus played in the Champions Hockey League this season. This season, Sönderjysk were eliminated in the quarter-finals as title holders in seven games. Madsen held a leading position as captain.
