The Swiss women's national ice hockey team finished the Euro Hockey Tour in Kloten with a 5-0 defeat against Finland and 3rd place.
The Finns were clearly the best of the four teams in Kloten and won the tournament with three clear victories and a goal difference of 15:4.
The decision in Lara Stalder's 200th international match was made at the start of the middle third. With four goals in the space of seven minutes, the northerners increased their lead from 1:0 to 5:0. Nevertheless, goalie Saskia Maurer, who was substituted after the score was 0:4, did not concede a goal in the final 31 minutes.
After the clear victory against Sweden (4:0) at the start and the narrow defeat on Friday against the Czech Republic (3:4 after penalties), the Swiss finish the tournament in 3rd place.
