The Ducks brought about the decision towards the end of the second and beginning of the third period. The 36-year-old Canadian Alex Killorn gave his team a 3-2 lead on the power play two minutes before the second intermission, which the American Ian Moore extended just four minutes after the restart with his first goal of the playoffs.
Seeland goalkeeper Akira Schmid was once again outnumbered on the Golden Knights' side.
