Longtime National League forward Chris DiDomenico is continuing his career in Northern Europe. Like Fribourg's leading scorer Lucas Wallmark, the 37-year-old Canadian is also moving to the Swedish up-and-coming team Björklöven.
DiDomenico signed a contract for the coming season with the club from the city of Umea. The unconventional center has played for the SCL Tigers, Fribourg-Gottéron, SC Bern and Ambri-Piotta in the National League over the past eleven years - with the exception of a brief stint in North America.
At the beginning of March, his contract with Ambri was terminated during the current season, although DiDomenico was the Leventines' top scorer at the time.
