Hurdles sprinter Ditaji Kambundji broke her own Swiss record in the 60 m hurdles. In second place behind the world's best of the year, Ackera Nugent from Jamaica, she finished in 7.80 seconds, one hundredth of a second under her two-year-old record. The 22-year-old moved up to fourth place in the world's best of the year as the fastest European.

Mujinga Kambundji is the new number 3 in the world. The European indoor champion pushed her season's best time from 7.14 to 7.07 seconds in the 60 m final. Only two women have sprinted faster this year: Jacious Sears (USA/7.02) and Zaynab Dosso (ITA/7.05), who won in Torun.
