Frölunda with Swiss defenseman Dominik Egli is eliminated from the playoff semi-finals of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).
In the sixth game, the team from Gothenburg loses 0:2 at home against Lulea and thus the series with 2:4 wins. Former Davos player Egli scored three goals and two assists in the playoffs. He will now be free for the third week of the World Championship preparation for the national team.
Lulea's opponents in the final are the qualifying winners Brynäs. The elimination marks the end of Roger Rönnberg's time on the Frölunda sidelines after twelve years. The Swede will move to Fribourg-Gottéron next season after two national championship titles and four Champions League victories.
