EV Zug also wins its second game under Canadian coach Benoît Groulx - this time 3:1 and again with a late winning goal. These are the facts from Saturday's six games.

Dominik Kubalik - one of four goal scorers now with 21 goals in the National League - first made it 2:1 for Zug in the last five minutes and later also scored the 3:1 into the empty net. Zug celebrates two wins in a row for the first time since mid-December.

The SCL Tigers are currently suffering from bad luck with their goalkeepers. First, Luca Boltshauser and Robin Meyer were both ill in January, then goalie Boltshauser retired injured after 25 minutes in Zug. The 20-year-old Martin Neckar made his third appearance in the National League. Although Neckar made another good save (19 saves, 1 goal against), he also lost his third game after two defeats against Ajoie.

Dubé's home win

The new (coaching) broom is also sweeping well at EHC Biel. The point gained in Lausanne was followed by a dramatic 5:4 home win for the Seelanders against the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers in the first home game under new head coach Christian Dubé. The Lakers were leading 3:2 and 4:3 until the 58th minute, when captain Gaëtan Haas and Petr Cajka scored two goals in 62 seconds to secure a 5:4 victory.

Stransky's double strike

Two goals within 188 seconds by Matej Stransky led HC Davos to victory in Lugano (.:.). Midway through the game, the Czech scored his 20th and 21st goals of the season to give the Grisons a 2-0 lead. No one has ever scored more than 21 goals in the National League this season. Lugano found no recipe against the Davos defense until the 57th minute. Luca Hollenstein ultimately missed out on his third shutout of the season as Carrick Connor managed to make it 1:4.

SCB on the upswing

Schlittschuhclub Bern is definitely on the upswing. After six away wins in a row, the Bernese are now even winning at home again. Although Théo Rochette - who also scored his 21st goal of the season - gave Lausanne the lead after 26 minutes, Mats Alge and Marco Lehmann turned the game around with two goals in the space of 92 seconds by the 34th minute. In the final period, Waltteri Merelä secured the 3:1 final score.

Fribourg's winning streak

HC Fribourg-Gottéron led 2:0 and 3:2 against the Lions in Zurich, but Jesper Frödén tied the game 3:3 for the ZSC Lions with six against five players 107 seconds before the end. In the penalty shootout, goalkeeper Reto Berra could not be beaten after 31 saves in the first 65 minutes. Christoph Bertschy scored the only goal in the shootout.

4 goals from 16 shots

Despite a shot ratio of 16:39, Ajoie won 4:2 against Kloten. Ajoie led 3:0 after just 14 minutes in Pruntrut and Kloten goalie Davide Fadani's working day was already over. Ajoie celebrated their fourth win in the last five rounds.
