The Czech is expected to miss the Central Swiss team until the end of September due to a lower-body injury.

Zug will play its first serious match of the new season in the Champions Hockey League. Its opponent on Thursday, August 28, will be Swedish champion Lulea. Zug will start the championship on Tuesday, September 9, with a home game against SC Bern.
