Fabian Blum ends the World Para Athletics Championships on Saturday with another bronze medal for the Swiss team.
Blum secured the eighth Swiss medal in New Delhi. The Lucerne native took bronze in the 100 meters in a time of 17.15 seconds.
In the morning, he had qualified for the final in fourth place. "When I realized that it was enough for third place after all, I didn't understand the world," said Blum after the race. Canadian Anthony Bouchard took gold, silver went to Tomoki Sato from Japan.
