The Rapperswil-Jona Lakers have signed Fabrice Herzog from EV Zug for the 2026-27 season. The 31-year-old forward has signed a one-year contract, according to a club statement.

Herzog returned to EV Zug, where he started his career, in 2021 after stints with the ZSC Lions and HC Davos. He became Swiss champion twice: in 2018 with the Zurich team and in 2022 with Zug. He also won World Championship silver with the Swiss national team last year. Now the left-handed shooter from Thurgau is joining the Lakers.
