After her crash at the World Cup in Kopaonik, Swiss ski cross racer Fanny Smith will not be competing in the Montafon. This was announced by Swiss-Ski on Wednesday.
Although the 33-year-old is in good health, she was unable to prepare optimally for the races in Vorarlberg due to the incident in the southern Serbian mountains and has therefore decided to skip the third-to-last World Cup stop.
Smith crashed spectacularly in the final in Kopaonik at the end of February. After snowing, she took off and hit her back hard on the piste.
