The Swiss racer claimed her 77th World Cup podium finish - out of 31 victories - in a clear victory for Canada's Marielle Thompson. As on Saturday, the Canadian won ahead of Germany's Daniela Maier. Fanny Smith seemed to come away empty-handed, but she was able to catch Canada's India Sherret on the last few meters.

The Swiss men missed out on a place in the final of the top 4, with aces Ryan Regez and Alex Fiva competing against each other in the quarter-finals. The Olympic champion and the Olympic silver medallist promptly touched each other. Fiva had to reach into the snow and was eliminated - without injuring himself. The jury considered the duel to be fair and did not investigate it further.

Gil Martin achieved the best result of the season with his semi-final advance. Regez and Tobias Baur were also relegated to the small final. The Swiss trio finished in 6th to 8th place behind world champion Simone Deromedis from Italy (Regez, Baur, Martin). Romain Détraz also reached the quarter-finals, as did Anna Dietrich, Martina Wyss and Natalie Schär in the women's event.

Frenchman Youri Duplessis Kergomard celebrated for the third time in his career.
