The Swiss Beach Volleyball Championships in Bern end with victories for the sisters Anouk and Zoé Vergé-Dépré and the men's duo Florian Breer/Luc Flückiger.
This is Anouk Vergé-Dépré's fifth Swiss championship title, but the first with her younger sister Zoé - and the first since 2017 (with Joana Heidrich). In the final on the Bundesplatz, the Vergé-Dépré sisters beat the number 3 seeds Menia Bentele/Annique Niederhauser in two sets. Tanja Hüberli, who is currently injured, and Nina Brunner, who has retired, had triumphed the last six times.
Florian Breer from Basel won his third men's title in a row, but also his first with a new partner. Alongside 20-year-old offensive specialist Luc Flückiger, the top-seeded duo won the hard-fought final against Filip Habr/Nathan Brach after narrowly losing the opening set 15:12 in the tie-break.
