Kevin Fiala continues his strong form in the NHL. The St. Gallen native scored for the Los Angeles Lakers for the fifth game in a row, but was unable to avoid a home defeat against San Jose.
Fiala scored his 16th goal of the season in the final period to tie the game at 2-2, after he had already provided the assist for his team's first goal. With 31 points, he is currently the Kings' second most productive player.
Although Los Angeles led the game 3:2 until 67 seconds before the end of regulation time after trailing twice, it was not enough to win the Californian duel. The Sharks, who were without the injured Philipp Kurashev, secured their fifth win in the last six games thanks to William Eklund's 4:3 in overtime.
