The ZSC Lions lose for the first time in the Champions Hockey League in the fourth round. The Swiss champions lost 2:4 at home against RB Salzburg.
The Zurich team made a veritable false start in front of just under 3,800 spectators. The Austrians led 3:0 after just over thirteen minutes and 4:0 at half-time, with Denis Malgin and the new Finn Santti Kinnunen only able to make up for it.
After nine points from the first three games, the Lions conceded points for the first time, although they actually had significantly more of the play. Nevertheless, they are still clearly on course for the round of 16.
