Three games, nine points Barça turn the game around against Rayo Vallecano thanks to Olmo and remain unblemished

FC Barcelona turned an early deficit against Rayo Vallecano into a win after the break and now have nine points after three league games.

Dani Olmo secured Hansi Flick's third win as FC Barcelona coach. In his first appearance since returning to his boyhood club, the Spanish European football champion scored the decisive goal in a 2-1 (0-1) away win at Rayo Vallecano.

Unai Lopez put the hosts ahead in the ninth minute. After the changeover, Flick introduced Olmo, who had been brought in from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, and was initially delighted when Pedri equalized (60'). A few minutes later, Olmo (72) scored the winner.

Barça have made a perfect start to the season with their new coach. After their opening win at Valencia FC, the Catalans beat Athletic Bilbao 2-1 on the second matchday with a winning goal from former Bundesliga top scorer Lewandowski and are now top of the table with nine points.
