Victory against GC Basel win first leg of semi-final and are on course for the final

The FC Basel players win the first leg of the Super League semi-final away against GC 2:1.

Croatian Ivana Rudelic and German Melissa Ugochukwu scored to turn the game around on the GC campus after the Zurich side had taken an early lead through Luna Lempérière.

GC had eliminated defending champions Servette Chênois in the quarter-finals, while Basel had reached the last four against Aarau. The second leg will take place next Sunday.

In the other semi-final first leg, qualifying winners YB won 3:1 at cup winners FC Zurich on Saturday.
