Bodø/Glimt celebrate their first win in the 7th round of the Champions League. The Norwegians beat Manchester City 3:1.

Another top European team has thus felt the home strength of the team from the far north. Thanks to this, Bodö/Glimt made it to the semi-finals of the Europa League last season. Now the Champions League debutants are also celebrating their first success on the highest European stage.

Kasper Högh put the home team on the road to victory early on with a double strike in the 22nd and 24th minute, before Jens Hauge increased the lead to 3:0 after the break. The visitors from England did manage to pull a goal back after an hour, but the decisive setback followed shortly afterwards: Rodri was shown two yellow cards within a very short space of time and had to leave the pitch.

Thanks to the win, Bodö/Glimt, who previously had three draws and three defeats to their name, moved closer to the top 24. The team can now hope that their fairytale in the top flight will continue.
