Young Boys miss out on a surprise on the penultimate matchday of the Europa League and are beaten 1-0 by league leaders Lyon despite an impressive performance.

Young Boys conceded a 1-0 home defeat against league leaders Lyon on matchday 7 of the Europa League phase. The Bernese conceded the goal, which twice hit the edge of the goal, in first-half stoppage time.

YB will face Stuttgart away next Thursday at the end of the league phase and will probably need points to advance to the round of 16.
