Three goals in nine minutes Dortmund wins the Borussia duel and overtakes Gladbach

After the win against FC Barcelona, BVB is still aiming for international business in the final Bundesliga sprint. A step forward in the Borussia duel.

Borussia Dortmund have increased their chances of a European Cup starting place in the coming season. BVB won 3:2 (3:1) against Borussia Mönchengladbach and now occupies seventh place. They are four points off fourth place and a Champions League place with four matchdays to go. The visitors are now only ninth.

After Gladbach took the lead through Ko Itakura in the 24th minute, Dortmund turned the game around shortly before the break. Serhou Guirassy (41'), Felix Nmecha (44') and Daniel Svensson (45.+5) scored to give them a 3:1 lead after the first half. Kevin Stöger (56) reduced the deficit with a penalty.
