Gladbach - Frankfurt 1:1 Draw in the battle for the Champions League

Borussia Mönchengladbach and Eintracht Frankfurt play out a 1-1 draw in the 21st round of the Bundesliga, with both goals scored within five minutes of each other in the first half.

Eintracht Frankfurt also dropped points on league leaders FC Bayern Munich on matchday 21 of the Bundesliga. The Hessians were held to a 1:1 (1:1) draw at Borussia Mönchengladbach in the evening. The hosts took the lead through Tim Kleindienst (26th minute), but Hugo Ekitiké equalized five minutes later.

The gap to Bayern, who had won 3-0 against Werder Bremen the previous evening, grew by two points to 15 points. Bayer Leverkusen are in second place. The German champions also only drew and are eight points behind Munich.
