Plange shines with a four-pack GC tears YB apart in the Wankdorf

It was a wild game for the spectators at the Wankdorf on Wednesday evening. Eight goals were scored in the match between Young Boys and GC - YB goalkeeper Marvin Keller was beaten six times.

Goals had already been scored in the first leg at the end of October. The two clubs drew 3-3 at the Letzigrund in Zurich. Now GC, which is currently in the bottom third of the table, managed to win in a turbulent match.

After a high-scoring first half, in which GC built up a 3:1 lead, Gerardo Seoane's team got off to a good start in the second 45 minutes. Seoane's YB became much stronger and scored the equalizer in the 60th minute thanks to Chris Bedia, before Marvin Keller even saved a penalty from Lovro Zvonarek.

However, the momentum did not swing in the Bernese side's favor. Instead, they literally fell apart in the final 15 minutes. Luke Plange made it 4:2 - YB player Rayan Raveloson was sent off for an unsuccessful attempt to prevent the goal.

The 23-year-old Englishman, who had already scored once before the break, then scored twice more to make the final score 6:2.
