Inter Milan have signed a new striker. Iranian Mehdi Taremi joins the Italian champions on a three-year contract from FC Porto.
The soon-to-be 32-year-old scored 91 goals in 182 competitive matches for Porto, but lost his regular place towards the end of last season. Taremi scored 50 times in 85 international matches for Iran. At Inter, he will be team-mates with Swiss international goalkeeper Yann Sommer and will replace Chilean Alexis Sanchez in attack, whose expiring contract was not renewed.
