FC Luzern is bringing back a "prodigal son" and signing him on a long-term contract. Central defender Stefan Knezevic signs a contract until 2029.
The 27-year-old came through the various youth ranks at the Central Swiss club and made his Super League debut in 2017. In 2021, Knezevic moved to Belgium to join Sporting Charleroi and played 58 games in the top flight until the end of last season.
He only made twelve appearances last season due to injury. Now that his contract has expired, the former Swiss U21 international is looking for a return to his youth club.
