Defender Ayman El Wafi is leaving FC Lugano at the end of the year. The 21-year-old Moroccan is joining Wydad Casablanca, the current leaders in Morocco's top division.

El Wafi moved to Ticino two years ago in the summer from Hellas Verona's youth academy. The talented player, who is regularly called up for the Moroccan junior teams, played 62 games for Lugano.
