English champions Manchester City have moved up to fourth place in the table. Pep Guardiola's team beat Chelsea FC 3:1.

Ahead of the decisive Champions League match against FC Brugge, the Cityzens came back from an early deficit to win. The agile new signing Omar Marmoush played 74 minutes and scored a goal that was disallowed for offside (34th minute).

Another debutant took center stage for the hosts. The 20-year-old central defender Abdukodir Khusanov, who arrived from RC Lens for around 40 million in the winter, failed to return a header. Nicolas Jackson picked up the ball and laid it off to Noni Madueke, who effortlessly slotted into the empty City goal (3rd).

Then City woke up: Phil Foden hit the post (11). Left-back Josko Gvardiol missed two good opportunities (25th/40th). Shortly before the break, the former Leipzig man scored on his third opportunity to equalize at 1:1. Erling Haaland made it 2-1 with a lob after a mistake by Chelsea keeper Robert Sanchez (68'). Foden made it 3-1 after Haaland's pass (87')
