David Hubert is the new coach of Union Saint-Gilloise, the Belgian club has announced.

In the 37-year-old, who previously coached league rivals OH Leuven, the club has found the successor to Sébastien Pocognoli. The latter moved to AS Monaco.
Hubert only signed with OH Leuven this summer, where he also coached Swiss youth international Roggerio Nyakossi. After ten games, however, the club is in second-last place in the table with eight points. With the move to the Champions League participants, Hubert is moving to the top of the table. At Saint-Gilloise, he will also once again have a Swiss U21 international in his squad, Marc Giger.
