Two penalties, two red cards, three goals against Bayer just before half-time: after a wild game against the defending champions, Leverkusen are already trembling about progressing in the Champions League.

Bayer Leverkusen clearly lost a wild game against defending champions Paris Saint-Germain 2:7 (1:4) in the league phase of the Champions League after conceding three goals shortly before half-time.

Willian Pacho (7th minute), Desiré Doué (41st/45th +3), Chwitscha Kwarazchelia (44th), Nuno Mendes (50th), Ousmane Dembélé (66th) and Vitinha (90th) scored for PSG in front of 30,210 spectators in the sold-out Leverkusen stadium. Aleix Garcia (37) had equalized for the Werkself with a converted penalty in the meantime and reduced the deficit with another goal in the second half (54).

After the draws in the first two games, coach Kasper Hjulmand's team remain on just two points after three matchdays and are therefore under considerable pressure. PSG have made a perfect start in the top flight with three wins from three games.
