The 28-year-old central defender suffered a torn muscle bundle in his calf during the 3-0 defeat in Basel on Saturday and will be out "for the next few games", as the club announced on its Instagram channel.
This is a major setback for FCW following the recent change of coach from Uli Forte to returning manager Patrick Rahmen.
