Johan Manzambi, who is being courted by top European clubs, will not be allowed to leave Bundesliga club SC Freiburg in the winter. "We don't have to think or talk about whether he will stay in Freiburg beyond the transfer window. That goes without saying," said coach Julian Schuster ahead of the Breisgauers' Europa League match at OSC Lille on Thursday evening (9pm live on blue Sport).
It remains to be seen what the situation will look like in the summer. According to media reports, several top clubs are interested in Manzambi - including Bayer Leverkusen and FC Bayern Munich as well as Champions League participants Galatasaray Istanbul.
