The UEFA Disciplinary Committee accused the two players of "breaching the basic rules of decency and misusing a sporting event for non-sporting purposes".
Rodri and Morata are therefore likely to miss the first match of the next Nations League in Serbia and will return to the team against Switzerland in Geneva on September 8.
