All four Swiss athletes at the Ski Flying World Championships in Oberstdorf made it through the qualifying rounds.

Sandro Hauswirth, who was the best Swiss athlete in 18th place, jumped 176.7 meters. Gregor Deschwanden (21st), Simon Ammann (22nd) and Felix Trunz (34th) also made it into the top 40.

Domen Prevc came out on top of the rankings. The Slovenian showed by far the best jump of the qualification with 225.5 meters.

The first two competition rounds will take place on Friday - after the first round on Friday, the field will be reduced to 30 athletes. Rounds three and four will be held on Saturday.
