The Swiss flag will be raised four times at the European Championships on Friday.

In the non-Olympic 300 m rifle discipline, the Swiss team came up trumps on the national holiday at the European Championships in Châteauroux in France with four medals.
Anja Senti won gold in the prone position ahead of her team-mate Marta Szabo. Together with Sarina Hitz, who finished 6th in the individual classification, the trio also won the team classification.
Gilles Dufaux, Sandro Greuter and Pascal Bachmann missed out on the medals in the men's individual prone competition, but the sum of their results was enough to win team gold.
