Stan Wawrinka (ATP 95) will face Slovakia's Lukas Klein (ATP 128) in the first round in Gstaad. The number 8 seed from Vaud is one of four Swiss players directly in the main draw.
In addition to Wawrinka and Dominic Stricker (ATP 149), whose participation was already confirmed, Leandro Riedi (ATP 137) and Marc-Andrea Hüsler (ATP 229) can also look forward to the tournament in the Bernese Oberland thanks to wildcards.
