HC La Chaux-de-Fonds has been given the green light by the league to compete in the league qualifiers again this season.

La Chaux-de-Fonds has won the Swiss League in the last two seasons. In the spring of 2023, HCC lost the promotion/relegation playoff against Ajoie in six games. In 2024, La Chaux-de-Fonds was no longer allowed to compete in the league qualifiers due to inadequate infrastructure at Les Mélèzes ice stadium. As the renovation of the stadium is underway and the finances are in order, La Chaux-de-Fonds should be able to try again next spring - provided they win the Swiss League again.
La Chaux-de-Fonds currently leads the Swiss League table with a five-point lead over EHC Basel.
