Mathilde Gremaud will not be competing at her home World Cup in Silvaplana. The double Olympic champion (2022 in Beijing and 2026 in Milan-Cortina) is still suffering from the injury she sustained in the big air competition at the Winter Games, as reported by Swiss-Ski.

Although the 26-year-old from Fribourg is slowly getting to grips with her back problems, she does not want to take any more risks at the end of the season and wants to focus on full recovery. Gremaud won her second world championship title in slopestyle in the Engadine a year ago.
