Andrin Gulich and Roman Röösli miss out on a direct semi-final qualification in the double sculls at the Olympic Games. The world champions only came fourth in their preliminary heat and have to go into the repechage.
In the strongest heat, the Swiss ran out of steam in the last few meters. Leading for a long time, they not only had to give way to the Spaniards and New Zealanders.
