HC La Chaux-de-Fonds releases coach Louis Matte. The assistants Loïc Burkhalter and Santeri Matikainen will take over responsibility for the team of the Swiss League club on an interim basis.

In a statement, the club's management justified the decision with the recent disappointing results and the general state of the team. La Chaux-de-Fonds is in third place in the league table behind Sierre and Thurgau, who are level on points.
The 53-year-old Matte was in his fourth season as coach of the Neuchâtel team after a long spell with Genève-Servette.
