Julius Honka and the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers are going their separate ways. In the upcoming season, the 30-year-old will suit up for HC Ajoie.

Julius Honka has been playing in the National League since 2023, first with SC Bern, Geneva and Davos. Last summer, the Finnish defenseman joined the SCRJ and signed a two-year contract. This has now been terminated by mutual agreement, as the club announced.
In the regular season, he made 36 appearances, in which he recorded six goals and 13 assists. Against Fribourg-Gottéron in the playoff final, Honka was surplus to requirements.
