HSC Suhr Aarau will have a new head coach from summer 2026. As the handball club announced on Tuesday, Petr Hrachovec will take over the management of the team.
The contract with current coach Aleksandar Stevic will not be extended after almost five seasons.
"Not renewing is not a decision against Stevic, but a commitment to our chosen path and the desire to provide new impetus," HSC President Dieter Camenzind is quoted as saying.
Hrachovec, who will succeed Stevic, is currently coach of the Swiss U21 national team. The Czech has also been involved with several clubs in Switzerland, including Kadetten Schaffhausen, which he led to several championship titles.
