The Swiss national ice hockey teams have known their preliminary round program for next February's Olympic Games in Milan since Tuesday.

The men, coached by Patrick Fischer, start the tournament on Thursday, February 12 (12.10 p.m.) against France, who have replaced Russia. The following day, they will face Canada (21:10) and then the Czech Republic (February 15, 12:10) at the end of the preliminary round.
Within five days, the Swiss women, coached by Colin Müller, will face the Czech Republic (February 6, at 14:40), Canada (February 7, at 21:10), the USA (February 9, at 20:10) and Finland (February 10, at 21:10).
Both Swiss teams are guaranteed a place in the knockout round; the men could qualify directly for the quarter-finals as group winners, while the women are playing for a good position in the seeding list.
