The field of participants for this year's Spengler Cup is complete. The Finnish team Ilves Tampere is returning to Davos after more than 50 years.

Ilves Tampere can look back on a long and successful history. With 16 championship titles, it is one of the most traditional organizations in Finland - despite the fact that the last championship was won more than 40 years ago.
Ilves Tampere's only appearance at the Spengler Cup to date was even longer ago, namely 54 years ago. Back then, the Finns finished in 3rd place.
Even before the agreement was reached with Ilves Tampere, last year's winners Davos, Adler Mannheim, the U.S. Collegiate Selects, Frölunda and the SCL Tigers had already been confirmed as participants in the 98th Spengler Cup. The official schedule will be published on June 4.
